Ride Design Cushions
Ride Design Cushions are custom-mold seats for wheelchairs that are more comfortable than other seating and are easily re-adjusted to fit your ever-changing body.
The cushions are created by taking a custom mold while you’re seated in a wheelchair. Using the newest technology, the cushion is made of lightweight, porous materials to completely remove pressure from high-risk areas, increase comfort, and reduce heat and moisture buildup in the seat. The Ride Design Cushion includes an adjustable strap system to allow fine adjustments of the pressure distribution; this helps adjust the seat for minor changes in weight, function, and pressure.
Molds are sent to the manufacturer and returned within 14 days for a final cushion fitting and adjustment. The cushion must be covered at all times; covers are washable and breathable.
